the EUChinaGRID initiative

The EUChinaGRID 1st Conference will take place in Rome at Aula Magna of University of Roma Tre (via Ostiense, 159) the 18th September 2006.
The Conference is jointly organized by INFN/University of Roma Tre and GARR.

How to reach the meeting place
To get to meeting place from Fiumicino Airport you can take the "Leonardo Express" non-stop train to Termini Rome central station (departures every 30 min, ticket price € 9,50). This is the fastest and simplest way to get to Termini Station. If you wish, you can choose instead the FM1 train (departures every 15 min, ticket price € 5,00) to Ostiense station. The Conference centre is at walking distance from the station (download the map); if you wish you can also take "B" line tube ("Metro linea B") to Garbatella (way from Rebibbia to Laurentina).
To get to meeting place from Ciampino Airport you can take the bus CO.TRA.L. from the "Arrivi" (arrivals) terminal to the underground station "Anagnina"; here take the"A" line tube ("Metro linea A") to Termini central station and then the "B" line tube ("Metro linea B") to Garbatella (way from Rebibbia to Laurentina).

The EUChinaGRID Project Meeting will take place at INFN President Offices (Piazza dei Caprettari, 70 - Room: 70-1 Board of Director Hall). A bus will pick you up at 8:30 a.m at via Ostiense, 159 (Aula Magna Rome Tre).
If you wish to reach the meeting place by public transport, you can reach the nearest "B" line tube station ("Metro linea B") and get off at Colosseo ("Metro linea B"). Then, you can take a bus till Piazza Argentina and go by feet (about 250 meters). Further information is available on the ATAC website, where you can calculate your route.
